Message: As an Indian and as an observer of nation's public life, I feel and opine publically that Shree LalKrishna Advani has been a different kind of politician, more like a public educator than a promise-making crowd puller leader. I had the fortune of a couple of personal encounters with this statesman and my beliefs about him strengthened each time. Reading excerps here further consolidated this observation that here is a man the country should wisely repose faith once more and take benefits of his dedicated and time-tested capacities. Viren

Message: "My Country My Life by LK Advani is an invaluable book and of historical value. Indeed LK Advani is one of the greatest leaders that India has produced and can be compared to the icon of Indian political scenario Vallabh Bhai Patel. Therefore the book has its own importance and will remain an important treasure for the generations to come.
The book captures and provides lot of information to the readers. Being a reader and collector of books myself, I was particularly impresed by the references that he has put in the book. For example he refers to book by Wolpert, on partition and on many other events that will lead people to read them. . Advaniji is an avid reader of books and can talk on any subject with authority. Likewise information about ISI cells in India and the incidents about how a tea stall wallah was gathering information about the missile range operations in orissa is eerie and tells how innocent looking people may be involved in spying for other countries.

Message: hello advaniji,
i am right now in canada. got an opportunity to go through some of the pages of your book on this site. i must say that i am quite impressed with the way you have written this book. i especially liked the section which tells about your intial days in karachi. being a teenager i cannot believe the agony & suffering people had gone at that time. it is really horrifying.
you in rss, formation of bjp, ayodhya movement, you & atal ji it was all very fascinating to read about all these chapters in your life.
i must say you have been there & done all that. now you surely deserve to be the PM of our country.
congrats for the book & may lord bless you with a healthy & long life.

Message: Respected Shri Advaniji,
I have read some excerpts from your book unfortuantely have not got enough time to read this in thorough. I was curious to know your opinion about Ram temple and Islamic terrorism. I got myself satisfied with your views on these two important issues, but still have doubt in my mind about your claim that you would have been able to resolve the issue of Ram tepmle with negotiations if returned to power in 2004.

As far as issue of Islamic terroism is concerned you have spoken very frankly about the root cause of this problem in your book. In your words it is ideology that inspire this menace but unfortunately author L K Advani and politician L K Advani is on two poles on this issue. Author Advani is more honest on this matter rather than politician Advani.

Message: I am an ardent sympathizer of BJP since the Jansangh days. However, i feel, of late, BJP ceased to be a party of difference, still, i support.

Sri LK Advani, the best PrimeMinister India never had till date, has a chance but i feel, BJP as a party failed to woo the public's confidence in these 5 years. Where are they lost themselves?

Message: Dear Shri Advaniji
I have read some excerpts of your book My country My Life and it has added not only something more to my knowledge, but,a bit of respect towards you.I have been the admirer of leaders like V.P.Singh known for fierce honesty, renunciation and sharpest of wits and measured the deptth of your personality from your comments on him.I have found that the comments are, though, connected to your ideological bent but certainly free of stench of jealousy which has enhanced my regards towards you. There are also many quotes which are inspiring and some phrases of your own making which can be eligible for quotable quotes in future.I will appeal to you that the contents of book should be present on website in full not in excerpts.I also congratulate you for your writing a readable account, and, though,it is arguably not fully consonant with truth as can appear to an impassioned person.Pls accept my best wishes, though,I would have liked you in the highest post had you not been associated with the RSS ideology based on narrow definition of Hinduism.

Message: Respected Advaniji,

I recently bought your book and am still in the process of reading it.I have been very impressed by your enthusiasm to serve the country and the related thoughts that aroused at such a tender age of 14.

It was also very knowledgeable to know how you migrated from Sindh(karachi) to India and your Journey thereafter, which I am sure many of us were unaware of.

One question which I would like to ask you is, how do you ensure that in the present senario young citizens like me get and many others, get a chance to serve the country and enter into Politics when it has become so dirty, and the Purity which was maintained by great leaders Shyama prasad Mookherji and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay has been lost?

I had been to Shyama Prasad Mookherji hospital in Lucknow, and have seen the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay University in Gorakhpur, however was totally unaware of their sacrifices towards the country.

Thanks a lot for bringing such a book in the form of your Autobiography.
Any guidance from you in my dream towards entering Indian politics would be like an Elixir for me since I have always seen you as one of my ideals.

With due regards & respect,
Abhishek Puri
Lucknow.

Message: Dear Advaniji,

For years I have been looking up to a person like you who holds capability to give leadership with difference. The need of an hour is to show that leadership with difference. I am afraid that the BJP too is giving in to abysmal political forces. Your stand on the Nuclear Deal and on the Affirmative Action (27% reservation) is disappointing. I would hate to see the BJP paying very heavy price for not playing constructive role on much needed issues like the Nuclear Deal and the Affirmative Action. I would pray as well to see the best in your leadership which leaves mark of difference from other political parties.

Message: I have not yet read the book, however, I have browsed thru most of the news item both in hard as well in soft versions including TV.
Mr.Advani to us, belonging to those born during the independence year and a few years down the time, is by far the most upright & honest politician currently of the country.India needs a CEO to cruise the country on the correct path, which is distorted recently by conflicting & often short-sighted political interests.

Message: Namaskar Advaniji,
Its been a pleasure going through this website. Being a young Indian i have always been inspired by your bold decisions. No doubt some of your decisions do raise questions in mind but that is pretty normal for an outstanding figure who has been an active politician for over half a century.

Sure that mainly the Younger generation will be benifited by this book.

Let us pray soon under Shri.Advaniji's govt we will make 21st century as India's and Indians' century
