There seems to be no end to the controversy over the transfer of forest land to the Amarnath Shrine Board in Jammu and Kashmir.
A Srinagar court directed the SSP there to investigate allegations of making inflammatory remarks against Arun Kumar, head of the Shrine Board.
The court order came on a criminal complaint filed by coalition partner PDP against Kumar. Kumar has denied the allegations .
In an exclusive interview to NDTV, the leader of the Opposition LK Advani, who was at the cave shrine on Friday, supported the land transfer to the shrine board.
''I don't see why the shrine board set up in Vaishno Devi should be given all kinds of facilities, and shrine board relating to Amarnath in the valley section should not be given similar facilities. These are matters about which I have heard only today that these problems are there,'' Advani said
